Kika Magalhaes is a Portugese actress and dancer considered by Rolling Stone, Esquire, Variety, and many others, as one of the TOP 10 breakout stars of Sundance 2016. Her thirst for adventure made her travel and live around Europe as a dancer until her desire to perform on larger stages overtook her. She then moved to New York City to be Meisner-trained at the The Neighborhood Playhouse. Shortly after that, she began working in independent cinema. When Alejandro invited me to work on this project, without a doubt, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I admire Alejandro's previous work and knew it was going to be a great collaboration. I appreciate his directing and writing skills and with Ariel's cinematography, I knew this was going to be a masterpiece. Born in Belen, NM, Daniel interest in acting took off while in high school. Daniel currently continues to hone his acting craft at the Albuquerque Actor's Studio and at Act Now! in Sherman Oaks, CA.  He is currently represented by the O' Agency in Albuquerque.  In addition to "Leslie," Daniel can be seen on the NBC show "The Night Shift" and the Netflix Original Program "Longmire." Amy Baklini is an actor, writer, and producer from Albuquerque, NM. She received her degree in theatre with an emphasis in acting from the University of New Mexico. Her junior year of college was spent overseas studying and performing in Norwich, England. After returning to Albuquerque, she had the opportunity to be an apprentice at the Rubicon International Theatre Festival in Ventura, CA. As an apprentice, she trained under esteemed teachers from Juilliard and NIDA.  Some of her most recent work includes THE MERRY MAIDS OF MADNESS (Audience Choice Award Winner AFME), PINKY PROMISE (Different Faces, Different Voices Festival Official Selection), STAR WARS: SLIGHT TICKET MALFUNCTION (Best Comedy Winner, and 2 YEARS AND 8 DAYS.

The past few years have been extremely busy for Marty. He's been on the big screen in films like SICARIO (Multiple Academy Award Nominations, 2015 Cannes Film Festival) and OUTLAWS AND ANGELS (2016 Sundance Film Festival). Marty plays recurring character Reese on AMC's BETTER CALL SAUL as well as co-starring on NBC's THE NIGHT SHIFT and AMC's PREACHER.  Next, Marty will begin principal photography on THE DAY BEFORE in early October.

Marty has over 50 film credits to his name. He has starred in several Denver-based films including, INK, RACE WALKERS, THE INNER ROOM, 13TH & PEARL, GODS AND RATS, ACES AND EIGHTS, THE AFTER, and THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU.

Marty also directed the feature film, SUBURBAN, which won the Vuze Audience Award at CINEQUEST. His directing credits also include commercials for NAPA AUTO PARTS, VEHIX.COM, VERIZON WIRELESS, HORIZON MILK, FARMERS INSURANCE, and SIEMENS. Alejandro Montoya Marin was born in Laredo, TX and raised in Mexico (Merida and Monterrey). Since a very young age, he has been interested in film.  Alejandro went to school for marketing and then attended Vancouver Film School in Canada where he specialized in directing. He later moved to Albuquerque, NM to join the growing film industry.

ARIEL RAKES is a director of photography and owner of 82/92 Productions in Albuquerque, NM. He is a New Mexico native and enjoys shooting the diverse landscapes of the Southwest. Ariel has been behind cameras most of his life but it's been in the last 6 years that he began truly honing his craft.  He has several features, short films, commercials, and music videos under his belts and continues to challenge himself with new projects. In addition, Ariel is also an accomplished Steadicam operator and enjoys the challenges of discovering new and unique ways to move the camera to engage audiences with different perspectives. ALLAN & DIANA GAITIRIRA are the associate producers of LESLIE and together run Cheza Jouer Films LLC, a New Mexico based production company. Their SAG short film NOT ON BOARD was screened at the 2011 Albuquerque Film Festival and won an award at the 2012 NM Laugh Out Loud Film Festival. They are currently co-producing the television sitcom ALMOST AMERICANS starring comedy actors Gerry Bednob, Steven Michael Quezada, Sammy Obeid, and Marc Yaffee.  Other producing credits include Alejandro Montoya Marin's THE JONESES and LOW/FI in addition to acting as production coordinators on COWBOY DRIFTER, VILLA CAPRI, and FURTHER WITNESS.
